TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF STAR LANE, MORCOMBELAKE. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along STAR LANE, MORCOMBELAKE in its entirety. It will come into operation between 0930 and 1530 on 10 December 2024 and remain in force for five days, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 11 December 2024.
PROPOSED TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS, PARISH OF WHITCHURCH CANONICORUM. VARIOUS ROADS, WHITCHURCH CANONICORUM; C88, between its junction with Goose Knap and a point approximately 210 metres north west. GIBBS LANE, between its junction with A35 and Crabbes, a distance of approximately 235 metres. These works are programmed to commence from 0930 and 1530 from 10 January 2025 until 14 January 2025.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF STONEBARROW LANE, CHARMOUTH. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along STONEBARROW LANE, CHARMOUTH between Stonebarrow Cottage and Fair Folly. It will come into operation between 0800 and 1800 on 25 November 2024 and remain in force for five days, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 27 November 2024.
PROPOSED TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF STAR LANE, MORCOMBELAKE. I have received an application from National Grid to close STAR LANE, MORCOMBELAKE in its entirety. These works are programmed to commence between 0930 and 1530 from 10 December 2024 until 11 December 2024.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF A3052, LYME REGIS. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along A3052, LYME REGIS between its junction with Coombe Street and its junction with Monmouth Street. It will come into operation between 2000 and 0500 on 08 October 2024 and remain in force for five days, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 10 October 2024.
Langdon Hill Wood Car Park from Monday, 30th September 2024, for approximately 8 weeks until Friday, 22nd November. This closure is needed to carry out important work to protect and improve Langdon Wood, ensuring it continues to thrive for both wildlife and our local community.

It will come into operation between 0700 and 1900 on 09 September 2024 and remain in force for five days, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 11 September 2024.
PROPOSED TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF STONEBARROW LANE, CHARMOUTH. STONEBARROW LANE, CHARMOUTH between Stonebarrow Cottage and Fair Folly. These works are programmed to commence between 0800 and 1800 from 01 October 2024 until 03 October 2024. Please note, these works have been rescheduled for 25 November 2024.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF C18, BROADOAK. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along C18, BROADOAK between the entrance to Mead Farm and its junction with Moorbath Lane. It will come into operation on 19 August 2024 between 0930 and 1530 and remain in force for five days, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 19 August 2024.
PROPOSED HIGHWAY WORKS IN YOUR AREA. Dorset Council plan to close Gassons Lane between 5th August 2024 and 9th August 2024. This is a 24 hour closure the road will not be open during this period. We will be carrying out targeted and localised repairs to sections of those roads highlighted in red on the attached map. The recommended diversion route is marked in blue, and this will remain in place for the full duration of the above works. National regulations state that traffic must be diverted onto roads with the same classification as the one that is closed.
